Washing & Care

We want you to enjoy your new Beachy Belle items and get the most wears out of them. Please read under each item for an in depth washing and care guide. Please note Beachy Belle will not be held responsible for the incorrect care of your item. 

Swimwear - 
Wash before use. Always wash in cold water. Recommend hand wash. Washing machines are not all created equal and can breakdown the fibres. 

After each use - 

  • Rinse Immediately: After each use, rinse in cold water as soon as possible.
  • Avoid Heat and Harsh Treatments: Do Not: Tumble dry, dry-clean, iron, bleach, heavy detergents, rub, or wring.
  • Washing: Rinse out in cold water, do not twist or wring out water.
  • Drying: Dry flat and out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Protect: From rough surfaces like rocks, concrete as the friction can cause small tears or damage to the fabric. Placing a towel under your child while they are on the rough surface will help prevent damage.
  • Please note that some sunscreen lotions and oils may mark or damage the swimwear. 
  • Some colours may leak or colour transfer. 
  • You could try a deep clean after some chlorine pools like public swimming pools. Soak for at least 30 minutes in cold water to help remove as much chemicals from the swimsuit. 
  • Due to the double layered construction, sand may get trapped between the layers. Wait for the swimwear to dry and you can give it a good shake inside out. If there is still sand you can use a blow waver on a cool setting to blow the sand out. 

 

Linen & Cotton Blend Sets - 

  • Wash before wear. 
  • Recommended to hand wash. 
  • Avoid Heat and Harsh Treatments: Do Not: Tumble dry, dry-clean, iron, bleach, heavy detergents, rub, or wring.
  • Drying: Dry flat and out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Protect: From rough surfaces like rocks, concrete as the friction can cause small tears or damage to the fabric.
  • I recommend to hang on a coat hanger to keep the material from creasing.
